HOW TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE AN AFFF FIREFIGHTING FOAM CLAIM?

If you have been exposed to AFFF and have experienced health complications as a result you may be eligible to participate in an AFFF lawsuit. AFFF, or aqueous film-forming foam, is a type of fire-fighting foam that has been used by both civilian and military firefighters. AFFF contains PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), which have been linked to serious health problems, including cancer and other
conditions.

Many people who have experienced health complications from exposure to AFFF have filed lawsuits against the manufacturers of the foam, alleging that they failed to adequately warn about the risks associated with its use. Some of the injuries that may be associated with exposure to AFFF and PFAS include:

  • Kidney Cancer
  • Pancreatic cancer
  • Testicular cancer
  • Prostate cancer
  • Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
  • Bladder cancer
  • Thyroid cancer
  • Liver cancer
  • Ulcerative colitis

Having cancer diagnosis is traumatic enough.

Now add in:

  • Medical Bills
  • On Going Life Care
  • Pain & Suffering
  • Loss of Wages or Income
  • Other Losses

Money cannot fix the diagnosis, but holding the people responsible is a must.
